    1

    Log in to Goodreads

Go to goodreads.com and sign in to your account.

    2

    Navigate to the Import/Export Tool

Click on "My Books" in the top navigation, then look for the "Import and export" link in the left sidebar. Or go directly to goodreads.com/review/import.

    3

    Click "Export Library"

You'll see an "Export Library" button at the top of the page. Click it and Goodreads will start generating your CSV file.

    4

    Download the CSV

Wait a few seconds (or up to a couple minutes for large libraries). Once ready, a download link will appear — click it to save the file to your computer.

    5

    Import into The Reading Atlas

Head back to The Reading Atlas, go to your Reading Shelves or Profile, and click "Import Books". Make sure "Goodreads" is selected, then drag & drop your CSV file.

    6

    Review & confirm

You'll see a preview of matched books. Click "Import" to add them to your shelves — they'll land on the correct shelf (Read, Currently Reading, or Want to Read).
